Jeremiah St. John is a trombonist originally hailing from Ft. Myers, Florida where he learned Jazz and Improvisation under the tutelage of NY trumpeter, Dan Miller. His musical experiences include performing with artists such as Clarence Penn, Yasushi Nakamura, Michael Feinstein, and Wayne Newton, and has recently appeared on Echoes of Cherry Street, where he collaborated with bandmate Max Osawa, and fellow CU alum, Dr. Reginald "Reggie" Lewis. His other musical accomplishments include performances and composing with the award-winning Jazz Trombone Ensemble at the University of Illinois. He currently teaches at Bradley University in Peoria as an affiliate low-brass faculty member, providing applied lessons on a range of instruments, as well as directing combo and teaching improvisation and arranging.

Katie Flynn has been entertaining audiences for nearly two decades with her vocal prowess and charm. Performing at a multitude of venues across Champaign and Central Illinois, Ms. Flynn has the gift to read a room and liven up any crowd. Connecting with companions on stage and in the audience, she delivers an engaging and fun experience for everyone.

My love of jazz started over 14 years ago from habitually listening to my superb local jazz-specialized NPR station, with weekly programs ranging in some of the building blocks of American music, such as early jazz and blues, ragtime, and barrelhouse; to contemporary Jazz and Blues tunes. The exuberant sounds of Hot Jazz and Big Band Swing always stood out to me and inevitably got me interested in Lindy Hop, which has gone on to occupy a huge part of my life, both as a dancer and being on the organizer teams of two scenes. I currently DJ at a handful of scenes and events in Southern Michigan. As a DJ, I love music that gives dancers ample opportunity to be playful and sprightly, as well as less common recordings of beloved standards. Ask me to dance!
Tim Hargreaves
Originally hailing from Minneapolis, Tim now resides in the other -apolis (Indianapolis), where he's involved with the local balboa, lindy hop, and blues communities as a DJ, dancer, and organizer. Tim loves to research the history of jazz, blues, and funk music, and has been drawn to the rich music history of Indianapolis. Tim is always on the lookout for hidden gem artists/songs, and is on a mission to convert dancers into Helen Humes fans.
